The smoked chicken was juicy and plump and the skin of it was the best I'd ever had, and cut perfectly, if you're a trucker, don't miss this place.

Here is my review and I love BBQ. The pulled pork with their mild sauce (which is vinegar base) is great, got half a chicken very moist and good for dipping in the white sauce. The mac and cheese was good, pork and beans ok very tomato base taste. Now the pork ribs. I got a full slab because I love ribs,but these were not good at all. There was no rub, not smoked with their sauce and the tasted like a burnt piece of wood. Hickory I think. The taste of the smoking was overwhelming had to through the whole slab away. Now the pulled pork and chicken were good I recommend those. But if you are going to do ribs you need to smoke the with bbq also. So they dont taste like burnt wood. Sorry I could only give two stars.

This review is based of my experience only. My taste may differ from yours. I drive over the road for a living and eat in a lot of places all over the USA. Arrived 6/4/2019 a hour after opening. Ordered the beef platter with wedges, cole slaw, and beans. Wedges were great, very crispy and tasty. The beef wasnt even luke warm, cold as if it just came out of the fridge. Had a good flavor but being cold raises concerns. The slaw was basically just shredded cabbage and pickles but a good flavor even without mayo in it. Could only bare 1 spoon of the beans, they were horrid.

Excellent mild & spicy BBQ sauces, good pulled pork, awesome baked beans, amazing cornbread & seasoned fries.Gallon of decent sweet tea for only $2!Coleslaw was not good in our opinion but it might be an acquired taste.Overall fantastic & will be back ASAP.

Been here since the last year that have moved across the street new facility has more room bigger parking barbecue still good. Real friendly staff.4-6-18 today Brunswick stew.

I love this place. We frequent here all the time. Great food and outstanding service 👍. Sadly, the owner is retiring and the restaurant as we know it will close its doors Saturday April 17, 2019. I was informed that a new restaurant will open in it's place but not the same one. I'm happy for the owner but, we will miss her and all the employees.

First time here. Want sure what to expect but was more than happy with the problem sizes and the taste of the food. I had the pork platter. Pulled pork, French fries, roll, red slaw and baked beans. My husband had the combo platter. Chicken, ribs and pulled pork with potato wedges, baked beans toast and white slaw. The potato wedges had a delicious seasoning on them. All the food was excellent. Service was extremely fast and everyone was super friendly. Will definitely be back!

Meat almost just fell from the bones, alot of food though you are probably going to need a to go bag

Friendly people and appropriate decor. BBQ was good but slightly dry on the pork platter. Beans were good and decent portion. Fries were good but tiny portion. Slaw was different but unpleasant. Sauces hot and mild we're disappointing. Place was empty next to a truck stop. Could be truckers are to lazy to walk that far, but I was as far away as could be and did. It's really no farther than pilot store so maybe the word is that it's not great. For me it was just average.

I eat here every time I'm in the area and have been for many years. I love the ribs. the rib plate comes with 3 sides and that includes slaw, baked beans and potato wedges and I always request the red slaw. The food, the service, and the prices are all outstanding. You get lots of food for the 9.98 price. Of course that's plus tax and drink. As I always do I will definitely be back.

Not good at all. Ribs were bland and super fatty. They also were not dressed correctly, didnt taste like they were smoked at all, and dripping with grease. The rib sause provided on the side did nothing to improve the flavor. Had the large rib plate and was told it has 5 bones. Mine had 4 in decreasing size from large to invisible. Cole slaw is ok. Beans taste like katchup, and potatoes were over done. Pepsi was flat. The texas toast was good.

You need to check this place out! The most awesome chicken sandwich with white sauce. These folks are great! Super friendly. Introduced me to white sauce. Now I want it all the time.

Happened to get off the exit here and decided to grab a bite. Glad I did. BBQ is good. Sauce is great. The red slaw is awesome. The value is great. I was shocked how much food was on my plate when they brought it out! Would recommend.

Quaint little Bar-B-Q Shack. Very friendly,helpful and accommodating people. Very quick service and exceptional Bar-B-Q ribs. I got my order to go, I wish I had the time to dine in, the place seemed to have a very nice welcoming atmosphere. Maybe next time, I will definitely return. The ribs were GREAT! Fall off the bone!

Service was Amazing. The restaurant was vary cozy. I decided to try the combo plate. A lot of food! Got the beef, ribs, and chicken. None of it tasted good. The sauce was poorly made home made. The ribs were rubbery, chicken was nasty. And the beef was decent. The Mac and cheese was amazing. And so were the potato wedges.

Pretty good restaurant. I'm glad it's behind the truck stop. Food was pretty good. I had the beef plate with beans and cole slaw. I can tell they use a lot of vinegar in their cooking. Being from Carolina I'm used to it. But they have a way different style and taste.

You should definitely check out this place if I ever in town the barbecue is could just right and it taste delicious!!!!

Not the best bbq. I got the brown bag beef sandwich with beans and potato salad. The potato salad was good but the rest was disappointing. Also, the bbq sauce needs much improvement.

I had the spare ribs and chicken combo plate it came with 3sides and pulled porkthe Mac & cheese was watery with no taste the baked beans & fries was ok.. the spare ribs and chicken was pink inside and tough with drowning bbq sauce on it..

Excellent food, oddly homey restrooms, and cozy environment. Don't order a combo plate unless you can eat five pounds of food in one sitting...seriously, there's so much food that they serve it on a cookie sheet.

100% honest. If you don't like N AL style bbq you won't enjoy this place. It's very bland, no spice or seasoning, and covered in vinegar. Not carolina vinegar, like you dumped a gallon into the plate of food with a dash of mayo.The beans are smothered in ketchup, the slaw is once again drowned in vinegar. IMO, the fries were the best part, and thats just from the seasoned salt on top. My pork was the texture of canned tuna with zero bbq/smoke flavor.Everyone is nice, you get alot of food, but it's an acquired taste for sure.

Had the Brown Bag Special (Sandwich, potato salad, beans, cole slaw and a drink. I added some Okra and it was $11 and some change. The food was great! I highly recommend this BBQ joint!

Let me start by saying the ribs were fall off the bone tender!! Beautiful smoke flavor!! Done to perfection! I ordered the full rack since portions at barbecue restaurants are typically dismal however when you order a full rack here they mean it! The deep fried okra was crispy and delicately seasoned! Bang on! I will be back! Great job!

Listen..no b.s..by far the BEST barbucue I've eaten. Please people..if you come this way, stop and eat..you want regret it. And the nicest people I've EVER met. Omg..this place! Loved it! Hasn't been the same since they moved. Their bbq potatoes are hit and miss. One day you get a good one....the next day you get one the chicken is dry and the potato is hard as a rock and can't be eaten. Bbq sandwiches are still good but potatoes not so much.

Really good food. Family owned and operated. Really nice folks. Stayed open late during a rainstorm so I didn't have to walk back to the truckstop. I loved the decor! Definitely coming back again

This place has the BEST bar-b-que, slaw and cobbler on I-65. I stop every time I come through! The service is great and it's not pricey at All! You get your money worth and your taste buds filled!

Great food and bbq sauces, awesome prices. Fried food was a bit salty. The flavor of the meat (I had the 1/2 chicken) was amazing.

Ate here with my Dad a while back. Definitely recommend, best BBQ in Decatur and Priceville HANDS DOWN. It is unique and delicious, they break the norm from many other BBQ joints in the area.

They ask me how I liked my food. I told them the Texas Toast and ketchup was good. They laugh, guess they believe I was joking. I wasn't I order The Beef Plate, never had cole slaw like there's before. The beans, need work, nothing special at all. The Beef BBQ was very plain.

The white sauce is really good to dip the fried pickled okra. The ribs were well seasoned and fall-off-the-bone tender. Their homemade BBQ sauce was awesome. My girlfriend and I had a smoked half chicken, a half slab of ribs, and a large order of fried okra, and all that under $20... Excellent..👍👍
